We employ people who specialise in things other people can't fix.

Samantha Pappalardo
Practice Manager
There’s something about country girls—they just get things done. In a matter-of-fact way, with a sense of humor, fun, and an inherent need to be helpful. Never obstructive. Always welcoming.
As Revive’s Practice Manager, Sam sets the tone, helping to create a pleasant place to work and visit.
She just gets things done. No formal management training, but a background in helping people and a knack for finding solutions—without fuss.
Sam took a circular path to Revive, starting her professional life as an aged care activity coordinator—ironically, an ideal foundation for working with us… eventually.
She pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, though she didn’t finish because, as she puts it, “life got in the way.” Still, she holds a Diploma of Nursing.
“Nursing is a tough gig,” she says. “You learn a lot… and I mean a lot—about life, hardship, struggle, respect, and perspective.” And, of course, some medical knowledge too.
Her background also includes an unexpected venture into the management of one of the world’s most extreme mountain bike parks in Maydena.
She followed her bike mechanic partner there, and the park ‘acquired’ them as a package deal. And you know country girls—they can just do stuff. That’s how she ended up as Assistant Manager of the park—handling events, managing race timing, scheduling shuttles, overseeing logistics, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly.
Her partner moved on, but she stayed. They bought a house in Maydena. And you know the saying: “You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl.” Turns out, you can’t take this girl out of the country at all. So, when we offered her this role at Revive, she stayed in the country and now commutes—getting the best of both worlds.
With experience in cafés and hospitality, high-level sporting success as a state representative Touch Footy player, and years in nursing and aged care, it’s easy to see why we snapped her up.
