Hayley Openshaw
Senior Podiatrist
Bachelor of Podiatry - UniSA (Adelaide)
Continuing Professional Development Coordinator for Sports & Exercise Podiatry Australia (SEPA)
Hayley graduated in 2014. Since then, she has been lucky enough to travel with her work, living in places like London, Melbourne and Adelaide. She relocated to Tasmania at the start of 2024 to pursue a work-life balance which included purchasing a farm with her partner.
As a former elite athlete, Hayley takes a special interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) podiatry. She is skilled in biomechanical assessments, footwear prescription, orthotic therapy, exercise prescription and manual therapy (including dry needling). She is also highly experienced in routine treatments, ingrown toenail surgeries and diabetic assessments.
Hayley is passionate about injury prevention and functional movement outcomes to ensure her clients are experiencing the most of life! She is the current CPD coordinator for the national board - Sports & Exercise Podiatry Australia (SEPA) and travels several times a year to interstate and international conferences.
Behind the scenes, Hayley keeps fit and active with outdoor activities, farm jobs and establishing a self-sustaining veggie garden. She is always looking for an ocean swim or surf to 'decompress'.
