What are your operating hours?
8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Appointments are essential. Off street parking is available.
Is there a waiting list/period?
No. Appointments usually available in 24–48 hours with same day appointments when possible.
Do I need a referral?
Private patients do not require a referral. Your doctor may provide a referral for a specific condition.
If you are claiming as part of Workers Comp, Veteran Affairs and MAIB (motor vehicle accident) you do require a referral from your doctor. Please bring the relevant claim number to your appointment.
How long are appointment times?
Initial appointments are 40 minutest. Follow up appointments are usually 20 minutes.
Patients under 17 years require parent at initial consult, unless prior arrangements have been made.
What should I wear?
Loose and comfortable clothing is recommended. Diagnosis, assessment and treatment may require hands-on mobilisation therefore appropriate clothing is suggested.
Neck problems may require you to remove your top. For back and hip problems you may be required to remove your trousers. Shorts are available at the Revive practice.
What can I expect at my first treatment?
A thorough assessment to determine the cause of your problem. You will be asked a series of questions and your range of movement will be examined. A diagnosis will be given as well as teh length and frequency of any treatment required. Some treatment will be conducted during this consultation.
Will treatment be painful?
No. Treatment should be comfortable with only mild discomfort. If you experience discomfort post treatment please ring your therapist or discuss at your next visit so treatment can be modified.
Do I need to bring x-rays or medical notes with me?
We undertake our own diagnosis and assessment of your condition. Any relevant x-rays or medical notes are welcomed to aid in the understanding of each individual case.
Can I claim through my health fund?
Yes. Revive is a preferred provider for Medibank Private and cover also extends through other health funds.On the spot rebates are available through HICAPS system with patients required to pay the gap.
What are your payment terms?
Payment is required on the day. Initial consultation for Revive Physiotherapy is $73 and $63 for a follow up appointment. Revive Podiatry is $58 for an initial consult and $52 for follow up.
> EFTPOS is available including VISA, Mastercard and all debit cards.
> HICAPS is available on site to claim health insurance rebates on the spot.
> Veterans Affairs (DVA) patients are bulk billed to Medicare.
> Extended Primary Care (EPC) patients are required to pay on the day of consultation
($52) with full cost ($50) to be recovered via Medicare.
